The First Entry

Good afternoon to anyone who may be reading this- my very first blog entry! I hope that this will be a regular thing, that is if I don't forget my password to this account (which I never do anywhere else, I PROMISE). I am a 23 year old woman living in Melbourne, Australia and like many young people (and people in general), I am job hunting. It's not that I don't have a job, I am just underemployed. I work only six hours, and that's on a good week! With the prospect of saving for a coveted house deposit and also for a wedding next year, I need to up my hours. I am one of those annoying people you often hear about, you know the type: "she went to uni for 4.5 years and THEN decided she didn't want a job in the field she studied!" Teaching is just about my favourite thing to do, that's why I am a private tutor. Classroom teaching comes with a whole array of baggage that I may or may not discuss in a later blog (stay tuned).

It is school holidays right now and I find myself restless and without an immediate purpose. I hope this blog strikes a chord with someone else or that somebody even finds it entertaining in some capacity. So, there it all is, another blog from a whiny millennial. I hope you stick around!
